The real estate market in Edmonton stayed ahead of previous years in November. 599 single family homes sold in November, compared to 521 last year and 759 last month - the most homes sold in November in at least 6 years.
Condo sales were also strong in November and were higher than the past three Novembers. 325 condos sold in Edmonton in November compared to 284 last year and 419 last month.
The average sale price of single family homes rebounded in November. Homes sold on average for $415,532 in Edmonton in November, up from $407k last year and $404k last month. The median sale price for single family homes was equal to last month at $369,900 and up from $363k last year.
The average sale price for condos $242,013, up from $231k last year and $233k last month. The median sale price for condos was $220,500 compared to $222k last year and $223k last month.
The average price per square foot for single family homes was $268 in November, equal to last month and up from $256 last year. For condos, the average price per square foot was $238, up from $223 last year and $228 last month.
