Happy Birthday & 100 Most Powerful Property People

Today, a big thanks goes out to all our readers! It’s been three years since our first post (somehow it seems longer than that).

We barely have time to celebrate this momentous occasion.  Well its not that momentous in the grand scheme of things since there are far more important things than our little blog. 

Sometimes I’m surprised by who the readers are, where they come from and very often surprised by some of the comments.

I guess its fitting that the other day we received an email from a blogger in Vancouver congratulating us on being recognized as one of the The World’s Most Powerful Property People – Top 100.  We were shocked to find ourselves up there with CNN money, the National Association of REALTORS, the BBC and a host of others sites. Granted, we’re not exactly at the top of the list, but we are one of only two selected in Canada.

With success comes imitation – in certain cases some people have duplicated the name of our blog.  Some people will notice we put a Seal on the top corner of our blog – a Seal of authenticity so to speak.  You know you’re at THE Edmonton real estate blog if you see the seal.

    Have some people who have been waiting for very long have missed the boat, 1 month ago was a very good time when bank rates were low and property prices were low a rare combination, now congratulations people who took advantage, banks are being tight now, lucky for some who recently bought.
