Cheers
tery, as insightful as your article reference is, it has nothing to do with poor pictures on the MLS site.
What about newspaper ads with glam shots of Realtor face then no house. Thats always good for a laugh.
Category 7 cracks me up. I saw a house on Comfree once that had every square inch of the kitchen counters piled high of dirty dishes. Made me want to rush and go have a look at that house!
Cheers!
I have a friend trying to his home down in Calgary right now. Kids toys all over the porch and the house is a mess. I don’t think they’ve cleaned their kitchen since the house was built last year.
On the market 3 months so far, go go gadget flipper!
Those are terrible. Itry to post one weekly but have been slacking off for months.
But are they worse than no pic at all. In the Vacouver MLS it looks like this.http://www.604homes.com/blogs/matthew_collinge/archive/2008/01/26/worst-mls-picture-ever.aspx
Cheers from snowy Vancouver.
Found this MLS pic:

Apparently this whole condo block is for sale. No picture would have been better then a picture of the sign.
In that case the condo has tenants, who probably didn’t want photographs of the property taken…so it’s not really fair to pick on that one
Well done.
I’m no longer amazed at the poor photography that exists in real estate but I just can’t figure out why sellers don’t put their foot down.
I’ve never understood why our colleagues take (never mind upload) pictures of ‘typical’ 4-piece main baths, laundry rooms, and/ or garages…??
Agree with Norm. Sellers are foolish to not simply fire the realtor on the spot for awful photos of the house.
Why would you post this? Reminder: EREB’s philosophy “members serving members”
We’re helping the other members out by offering them advice: take better photos!
